the principle of x-ray fluorescence analysis
by irradiating the sample with x ray of a certain wavelength, the element is in the excited state and produces excited photons, forming a kind of fluorescence x ray. the energy of the excited states of different elements is different, and the fluorescence x rays produced are different. qualitative analysis is carried out by detecting the wavelength of x-rays, and quantitative analysis is carried out by detecting the specific x-rays of the elements.
operating principle of instrument
the instrument's high-voltage power supply provides tube pressure and tube flow to the optical tube. the optical tube excites continuous x-rays, which are radiated to the sample to produce x-ray fluorescence with sample characteristics. after entering the detector, the signal becomes voltage signal, which is amplified and processed by the computer after data acquisition.
